A gentleman recently commented on a Tweet I posted regarding Hillary Clinton's insulting testimony about the incident in Benghazi. The Clintons seem to have a knack of getting away with murder and other nefarious acts, he said. My reply was that the people in this reprehensible administration may not face justice in this life, but they certainly will in the next. That statement is not just me taking a wild stab in the dark and passing my own judgment-it's biblical. "Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord." We as humans can visit all kinds of terrible retribution on evil doers, murderers and facilitators of murder, but God's punishment will be much more severe than anything we could think up. The human side of us wants justice. Some would call it revenge and sometimes justice and revenge are the same thing or similar. The victims of Fast & Furious and Benghazi deserve justice. Those culpable in their deaths should be held accountable and pay the price for their negligence, reckless disregard and outright apathy for American lives that led to untimely deaths. The sad thing is that, as I told the commenter, we may not live to see justice served. This is something a lot of Americans are justly outraged over-the utter arrogance and "what difference does it make" attitude at every level of this administration when it comes to the way they treat our police, border patrol, military, vets and special ops. To them, our police are people to be berated and who "act stupidly," our border patrol are given bean bags to defend themselves against heavily armed Mexican cartels, our military's funding is slashed in a time of war, our veterans' benefits are on the table consistently for cuts, and our special ops are compromised and publicly identified, put in mortal danger and abandoned in a Libyan hellhole to die. This betrayal of our own people is unacceptable! When did those who SHOULD be considered our heroes become scapegoats and objects of ridicule for this president and his minions?! When did they become expendable? "Bumps in the road"?! Who the hell raised these people-wolves?! No, wolves have loyalty to their own. If we, the American people, do not stand up and demand justice for those who died or are being railroaded, who will? Our current so-called Department of Justice? The same one run by the criminal who ok'd Fast & Furious? NO. So we must. Time to put the big girl and big boy underwear on and do what's needed. God will have His final say but if we ensure that these victims of the administration are not forgotten and we at least attempt to achieve justice, work towards it, fight for it-then we can look ourselves in the mirror every day knowing we did our best. We who possess a conscience must do no less. Those who died deserve that much from their countrymen.
