So it seems Bobo doesn't think the Bush administration's policies were so dumb after all. Who'da thunk it? Things are a good deal different when you're sitting behind that desk in the Oval Office actually having to make decisions, aren't they? That is, whenever he's ACTUALLY in town and not running off to other countries smooching their asses and apologizing on our behalf for nothing, and jetting off to Chicago to have dinner with friends, and now to Notre Dame where he's accepting some meaningless honorary degree. (which is a travesty in itself, but that's a whole 'nother blog.)
Back to the issue at hand: Yeah, once he found out that nobody wanted the Gitmo detainees when he planned to shut Gitmo down, he kinda got stuck between a rock and a hard place. Well, nobody wanted them but that traitor Jack Murtha over in Pennsylvania, but his "redneck" constituents (his word, not mine) didn't go for that. And even other countries wouldn't take them, even though Bobo basically begged them to. (funny, ain't it, how they don't mind our soldiers and Marines fighting and dying to keep them free but they themselves aren't really into that "pushing up daisies" thing...or taking some of the load off...etc, etc.)
And my favorite item of the week, Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi is hanging herself with her own rope. May I say that it couldn't happen to a better person...now if she'd only take Harry Reid along for that last swing...I don't guess we could get that lucky. Looks like somebody's mama didn't tell her that lies come back to bite you on the butt, and hers took a big chomp. It was bad enough to lie and say that she "didn't know" we were using waterboarding as an interrogation technique (which is NOT torture, don't even get me started on that one), but then she tried to throw the men and women of the CIA under the bus! Newt Gingrich is right-she needs to step down, because the only 2 excuses she has for this is 1)she's lying or 2) she's incompetent and either are not desirable traits in a Speaker of the House. THIS is who's two heartbeats away from the presidency? It's a disgrace, and she should resign immediately. What's really fun is watching the mainstream media scramble to find some thread of a reason why they should defend her like they are defending Obama's incompetency. It ain't working-maybe she needs a teleprompter....
